Nick Staton was thrilled to be invited to turn on the Christmas Tree Lights outside St John's Church in Barnet yesterday! He was joined by little helpers from the Susi Earnshaw Theatre School!

There was a lovely message of thanks in the Barnet Christmas Fayre booklet:
A very special thank you to Nick Staton for donating the huge Christmas tree standing outside St John's Church - What would Christmas be without a tree?!

The illumination of the Christmas tree marks the start of the countdown to Christmas; the next local event is the Barnet Christmas Fayre on Sunday the 6th of December!

The Barnet Christmas Fayre is one of High Barnet's Major annual events and epitomises the spirit of Christmas. Businesses and communities coming together to celebrate what we offer each other and to raise the awareness of local charities at this special time of the year. Thousands of pounds have been raised for local charities at this event over the past years.

We hope this year's fayre will be just as successful!
There will be a parade with Dancing Snowman, Children's Show in the Bull Theatre, Music in the Church, Dancing in the street, over 100 stalls, Craft Fayre at Church House, Punch and Judy Shows, Father Christmas and all the fun of the Children's Fair!

If you would like to join in the Christmas festivities come down to Barnet High Street on Sunday 6th December from 12pm - 5pm.
