News: STATONS SUPPORT CANCER RESEARCH UK AT THEIR 2015 SNOWFLAKE BALL
Statons supported Cancer Research UK at their 2015 Snowflake Ball on Saturday.
The event was organised by Denise Barnett and Elaine Colom, from Hadley Wood, whom we would firstly like to thank for all their hard work and secondly congratulate on creating such an outstanding event.Their hard work meant that our Hadley Wood team had a fantastic time along with many familiar faces from the local community.

The evenings guests enjoyed The Landmark Hotel’s delicious food, took part in the silent auction & a raffle, and were amazed by the talent of the band and dancers. However, the night was of course dominated by a very serious subject and the vital work that Cancer Research UK does. Guest speaker, Richard Taylor, summed it up simply with figures: “Cancer Research UK are the largest independent funder of cancer research in the world and in 2013/2013 directly contributed £351 million towards its scientific research programme”.

Cancer Research UK’s research is entirely funded by the public and is why events like this ball are so important. The ball’s guest were told that the funds raised from the evening would be allocated specifically to the research of Pancreatic Cancer. This type of cancer is one of the least funded and so unlike many other cancers, the survival rate has not changed over the last forty years. We hope that the funds raised from this event, and many others, will go some way to improving this situation.

Letting fees information:
To protect both you and the landlord there are administration procedures that must be followed as part of the rental process. We have outsourced independent specialists who carry out these procedures for us. This means that in addition to the monthly rent and the security deposit you will be required to pay their charges once we have found you a home to rent. These charges are outlined below (V.A.T. at 20% is included in all these rates).
Pre-Tenancy Administration Charges for Applicants:
Pre-Tenancy Set up and Administration Fee per Applicant = £114 per person
Pre-Tenancy Legal Services Admin Fee per Tenancy = £96 per property
Additional fees may be applicable:
For example, fees will apply if any substantive changes to the Tenancy Agreement are made at the Tenants request (£42); if a Guarantor is referenced (£72); if the tenancy is renewed (1 Person: £72 or 2+ people: £42pp).
