The second edition of our new email bulletin - Exclusively Statons

Hello,

Welcome to our second ‘Exclusively Statons’ bulletin during this terrible period we're all going through.

Following my earlier email, I have been so surprised and encouraged by the amount of positivity and goodwill and would like to offer my sincere thanks to the many people that emailed their thanks and support at this time.

It is undoubtedly the toughest time most of us can remember, but equally, for many, the good old fashioned community spirit remains strong and people are doing their utmost to carry on as normal as they are able. Difficult as that may be.

Many of the emails I have received were requests from active buyers asking if videos are available for properties they are interested in. We have therefore launched a Video Tour initiative, although due to the social distancing requirements, we are asking our homeowners to take simple video tours of their property we can send to these buyers. Because of course, as we all know, we can't arrange or allow any face to face viewings during the lockdown period.

Guide to creating a Video Tour

This is much easier than it sounds, see the video example 1 and example 2. From the examples you will see it is very simple, a little amateurish perhaps and certainly not professional, but we have found that people really like this honest style.

Whilst this might not result in a sale today, it will help those serious buyers when the current restrictions are lifted. The video was produced using my phone to showcase the property with a short running commentary, I have also produced an easy guide to doing this, see link below.

If your property is currently on the market, please let me know if you take a video like this, as I can link it to applicants that wish to view your home during the lockdown and let them know we have a private video from the owner available to send to them.

Although our offices remain closed, we are available on the telephone or via video conferencing to help in any way we can. Feel free to contact me or send your videos to me at the Hadley Wood Office

Please stay safe.

My very best regards

Nick Staton and all at Statons
