These are difficult times, although I'm sure you don't need me to remind you of this. Personally, I am shocked and heartbroken on a daily basis by the scale and horrifying statistics as the virus takes its toll within our communities. My thoughts and wishes go out to my colleagues, and their families, as well as our friends and clients affected by this terrible virus.

This communication has been some months in the planning, long before Coronavirus was at the forefront of everyone’s thoughts. Its purpose was originally planned to keep our customers updated with locally orientated property news and information. Although to date, events have conspired against us. I believe that now is a time for community and communication, so hope you find this useful.

‘Exclusively Statons’ is the name of our new monthly on-line property bulletin. Statons have been around for a long time, through good times and bad, although nothing quite like this… Our position, where possible, has always been to carry on, and whilst we are taking on board the governments' advice, providing support to colleagues and customers, our position today is to carry on! Carefully!

Having consulted widely, there remains an urgent requirement for some to move home, with this in mind we have a couple of initiatives to help clients in this position. Firstly, for local people that have a requirement to sell their home, we can offer ‘market appraisal by video’. Secondly, for clients urgently looking for a new home, we offer our ‘Video Tour Service’. For further information on either of these services please contact me directly at the Hadley Wood Office.

In future editions, we will look to provide helpful property related information and advice, in areas such as legislation, pro tips, interesting homes and their owners and perhaps even some local history.

We genuinely hope you find this helpful and informative, your thoughts and comments are welcome. Please feel free to email me.

Please stay safe.

My very best regards

Nick Staton
