With the announcement from the Chancellor on Wednesday of the temporary increase in the stamp duty threshold for property sales in England until 31st March 2021, referred to in the press a 'stamp duty holiday'. We have been inundated with enquiries for property up to £500,000, so we've put together our top ten most visited properties on our website in this price range.  

What does the stamp duty holiday mean to property buyers? 

It means that for buyers looking to buy a property priced at £500,000, they will not pay any stamp duty, that's a saving of £15,000... 

The same saving also applies to properties over £500k, buyers over this price will only have to pay the stamp duty on over the £500,000 threshold, so the £15,000 saving also applies!
